See Franz Ferdinand, Blondie, Bikini Kill and More on the Pier 17 Rooftop

You don’t even have to count down the days until Memorial Day because summer has already hit Lower Manhattan in a big way: the Pier 17 rooftop concert series has kicked off. 

The series is bringing some big stars to one of the most picturesque spots to see an outdoor concert in the whole city: Franz Ferdinand, Elvis Costello, Blondie, Jason Isbell, Dashboard Confessional, 5 Seconds of Summer, Bikini Kill and many more will be featured at the ticketed series, which runs through October. 

Tickets for the shows vary in price by artist and can be purchased through Ticketmaster. Audiences at Pier 17 get to see these big acts with the Brooklyn Bridge and East River as a backdrop. 

You’ve got a chance to celebrate Memorial Day on the rooftop, too. Project 91 is hosting a summer kickoff party on May 28 starting at 2 p.m., featuring a rotating lineup of DJs, including Jonas Blue, before wrapping at 10 p.m. Find more details and tickets here.
