Join Rocco DiSpirito for a New Episode of Dine Around Downtown: Cooking at Home Edition
After a brief hiatus from the virtual world and a smashing IRL success at Fosun Plaza, Dine Around Downtown returns to the web next month with its next installment of the Downtown Alliance’s Dine Around Downtown: Cooking at Home Edition. On Thursday, August 4, host Rocco DiSpirito will join Ben Conniff, chef and co-founder of Luke’s Lobster (26 S. William Street). Together they will show participants how to make Luke’s signature Lobster Roll, Poppy Seed Slaw and Ben’s Maine Blueberry Crisp.
Register for the free event now, so that you will receive digital copies of the recipes prior to the online stream. The Alliance also encourages you to support the Barrio Fridge, the food-security charity chosen by Luke’s Lobster.
Dine Around Downtown: Cooking at Home Edition has zoomed into the kitchens of Lower Manhattan, where chefs share recipes and tips on everything from complex gastronomic delights to go-to comfort foods. The series launched in June 2020 with America’s first restaurant Delmonico’s, followed by a number of dining rooms including Seamore’s, Bar Room at the Beekman, Malibu Farm and Chinah. All previous episodes are available on YouTube.
