Give Your Old Books a Second Life at Our September Book and DVD Drive

Our June book and DVD drive was such a smashing success, we’re doing it all over again. For the month of September, we’ll be accepting your old paperback books and dust-gathering DVDs, with donations going to residents at various housing locations run by the Bowery Residents’ Committee (BRC).

Bring those erstwhile copies of “Infinite Jest” (you’re never going to read it) and “Hot Rod” (you’ve already memorized it) to ADNY’s visitor information kiosk at the southern entrance of Bowling Green Park, which will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week. We will accept paperback books only; we will also only accept fiction books (adult and YA books are fine, no children’s books please!). Movies must be in DVD format, so please leave your Blu-Ray discs at home. The book drive drop is open now through the end of September.
