You don’t need wine or beer to get tipsy.

Try Tipsy Shanghai instead, a new Chinese restaurant in Lower Manhattan, which serves up an intoxicating medley of delectable traditional fare and a warm atmosphere steeped in Chinese history. The menu offers a range of tasty delights, including the house specialty, “Xiao Long Bao,” a steamed-bun from the Jiangnan region of China that is said to date back to the ancient Song Dynasty.

Now, you might be thinking, why the name “Tipsy Shanghai”? Well, you might want to ask their drunken chicken, but I highly doubt you will get an answer. If you are not in the mood for a drunken chicken or steamed buns, there are plenty of other enticing options. I myself wouldn’t mind trying the “Steamed Soup Crab Pork Buns”.

For a complete menu, head over to Tipsy Shanghai at 103 Washington Street, 2nd Floor.
