Ready your flagons for the ultimate seafaring mashup. On July 16, the South Street Seaport Museum is teaming up with Quick Eternity, the new “Moby Dick”-themed cocktail bar at 22 Peck Slip, for a food-and-drink-filled trip through time aboard the 1885 tall ship “Wavertree.” For a $45 ticket, you’ll be able to enjoy “Moby Dick”-inspired cocktails and old-timey seafaring dishes (updated for the modern palate, natch), as well as learn about how sailors kept themselves fed on long ocean journeys back in Lower Manhattan native Herman Melville’s day. And if you keep your eyes peeled, you might even get a glimpse of your own white whale.
