Lace Up at the Rink: Brookfield Place’s Ice Skating Is Open for the Holidays

Don’t let the unseasonably summery weather fool you, for the holiday season has one of the city’s best socially-distanced perks: outdoor ice skating.

For a Downtown alternative to the Rockefeller Center and Bryant Park rinks — and one that overlooks the Hudson River, no less — The Rink at Brookfield Place is back open for the season. In addition to its usual skating options ($17, plus $5 skate rentals), The Rink will be offering private and semi-private lessons, private pods and also birthday parties. You can book these activities online here, and anyone interested in private rink rentals can reach out to [email protected] for pricing and availability.
