TikTok’s Small Business Block Party: In Review

TikTok has become a hub for businesses to market themselves, and small businesses stand to benefit from learning the trends, participating in video creation and staying engaged on the social-media platform. The Downtown Alliance attended TikTok’s Small Business Block Party, and here are some tips you can utilize in your marketing strategies.

  • Focus on quantity over quality when first beginning to create content.
  • Utilize trending hashtags and those that are specifically geared towards small business.
    • Examples include #smallbusinesstok #smallbusiness #smallbusinessowner #smallbusinesscheck
  • Create videos on popular topics, such as showcasing the products you offer, sharing behind the scenes clips of your business, and sharing the growth your business has undergone since its inception.
