Trade Center Locksmith & Hardware Is on Call for the Next Time You Forget Your Keys

If you’ve ever found yourself in the unenviable position of being locked out of your apartment, you know the value of having a trusty locksmith. Luckily, Lower Manhattan residents have Trade Center Locksmith & Hardware (73 New St.) on call. In addition to getting you back into your home or car, the pros also copy keys, design and install new lock systems, set up security systems and repair your door hinges.

The other half of the business is — as you might have guessed — hardware. They’ve all the supplies you need for that ambitious home project that looked a lot easier when you saw it on social media. That’s everything from power tools to safety products to paint to wood care supplies. Also, the staff is friendly and eager to offer advice.

Trade Center Locksmith & Hardware is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.. They’re closed on weekends, though their website suggests Saturday hours are subject to change. But if you find yourself locked out on the weekend, give them a ring anyway. They do offer after-hours emergency services.
