‘Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience’ at Skylight on Vesey Has Been Extended Through January

If you missed the impressive interactive exhibition ‘Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience,’ you’re in for a treat. The wildly popular show, which was expected to end its run in October, has been extended through January 2022, so you’ve still got time to head to Skylight on Vesey (300 Vesey Street) and join in on the fun.

The exhibition simulates a sensation of wandering inside of his paintings, and includes a 10-minute virtual reality feature that places you alongside Van Gogh for “A Day in the Life of the Artist” — walking you through the creative inspiration behind paintings like “Bedroom at Arles” and “Starry Night at the Rhone.”

The show is open weekdays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and weekends from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.; plan to spend at least an hour there. Tickets can be purchased online.
