World Cup Fans Gather In LM For Big Game Fun
By: Caroline De Tino
With the World Cup rapidly approaching, it’s time to start thinking about where to get fun coverage of the game with friends and food.
For both delicious eats and huge tv’s, you may want to visit the sports bar Manhattan Proper at 6 Murray Street. Sit back and munch on some of their dishes such as the barbecue short rib grilled cheese, or the “World’s Greatest Sandwich” all while sipping on your choice of select $5 beers, $6 house wines, and $7 mixed drinks. If you need even more convincing, their various 70 inch flat screen tv’s throughout allow for not a single bad seat! What more could you ask for?
For non-stop, al fresco game coverage, head on over to 28 Liberty’s West Plaza! Starting June 14 until July 15, gather together and watch the World Cup games outdoors on their newly installed 40 foot screen! Nothing says a good lunch than with a side of soccer!
If you can’t make it to these locations, no worries! Beckett’s Bar & Grill, and Stout NYC are also offering fun coverage (especially if it happens to rain).
So grab some friends and some lunch, and enjoy the World Cup in the comfort of Lower Manhattan!
