Dine Around Downtown Returns June 4

The Alliance for Downtown New York, Lower Manhattan’s nonprofit business improvement district, will host 54 neighborhood restaurants at the 2026 Dine Around Downtown festival, taking place at Fosun’s landmarked plaza at 28 Liberty St. on Thursday, June 4, from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The event marks the 23rd edition of the festival. Admission is free, with restaurants offering signature menu items ranging from $5 to $10;  beverages are available for purchase as well.

James Beard award-winning chef and author Rocco DiSpirito will return as special guest host. 

Fans will be able to purchase DiSpirito’s two most recent books from Kitchen Arts & Letters, who will have a table at DiSpirito’s tent. The famous specialty bookstore featuring books on food and drinks and cookbooks will be participating in the Downtown Alliance’s innovative RE:Store program later this summer, which will bring seven small businesses to the neighborhood to operate pop-ups during the summer months. Finally, viral jazz sensation Ruby Laks will bring the Ruby Laks Trio to perform on the plaza during the event. 

Launched in 1997, Dine Around Downtown is one of Lower Manhattan’s premier tasting events and continues to grow in step with downtown’s flourishing culinary scene. This year’s festival features the most participating restaurants in the history of Dine Around Downtown. Vendors include a host of first time Dine Around participants such as Maison Passerelle, Printemps New York (recently named one of the New York Times’s Best 100 NYC restaurants), renowned pizzeria Kesté Pizza & Vino and the brand new Café Fleuri, to name a few. 

“Dine Around Downtown is a celebration of the culinary community that has made Lower Manhattan a dining destination,” Downtown Alliance President Jessica Lappin said. “We encourage everyone to come out, try something new and enjoy the incredible food that our restaurants provide. Dig in!”

As part of the Alliance’s ongoing commitment to a sustainable Lower Manhattan, Dine Around Downtown is a zero-waste event. Attendees will find triple-waste recycling stations located throughout the plaza, all of which will be staffed by educators who can advise on proper waste diversion and offer information on other zero-waste programs available in the neighborhood.
