Downtown NYC: The World in One Square Mile

Welcome WITS to Lower Manhattan in 2025!

We couldn’t be more excited to be the Platinum Sponsor and Destination Host for the WITS Travel Creator Summit 2025, the premier event for travel creators and the brands that want to work with them. Up to 800 travel content creators will be staying in, playing in, discovering and exploring Lower Manhattan from May 14 to 18, 2025. We can’t wait to pull out all the stops to make sure you get to experience New York City’s oldest neighborhood, and learn about how it’s at the forefront of the future.

How to work with us

Social media partnerships: We work with content creators on a variety of levels, from small UGC creators to macro influencers. Our diverse neighborhood business community and internal initiatives make it possible for us to collaborate with creators working in multiple niches, such as luxury travel, food, LGBTQ+, film & tv, architecture, NYC history and culture, and urban planning. Follow us at @downtownnyc on Instagram and @downtownnyc on TikTok, and connect with us directly: [email protected].

In addition to opportunities with our in-house social team, our decades-long presence in the neighborhood allows us to facilitate relationships between content creators and other Lower Manhattan businesses and entities such as hotels, restaurants, and popular destinations like the South Street Seaport or the World Trade Center campus.

Our tourism department is always happy to design itineraries or make suggestions of experiences, restaurants or tours based on what content creators are interested in covering.

Write for us: Our website functions as an important neighborhood news source and chronicler of local history and culture. If you have an idea for a story, send your pitch to [email protected]; rates negotiable depending on assignment.

Note that while the Alliance works with creators, if you are interested in WITS-specific work, please contact the WITS team directly.
