Meals You Can Feel Good About Await At Blue Park Kitchen
By: Caroline De Tino
Nourishing food is on the menu at Lower Manhattan’s newest fast casual – Blue Park Kitchen!
Blue Park Kitchen is an inviting eatery with a quirky little twist at 70 Pine Street. They offer some delish and interesting dishes like their Turkey Meatball and Blistered Tomato, Salmon and Charred Broccolini, Blackened Chicken and Moroccan Carrots, and more. Each little bowl is made with locally sourced vegetables and every sauce is made fresh.
Being the foodie that I am, I decided to give a taste test to one of their bowls. Their blackened chicken with moroccan carrots has one of the most unique blends ever. The carrot gave this bowl a pleasant sweet flavor, while the radish gave it a nice zest. The chicken was cooked to perfection, and was complemented wonderfully with an herbed brown rice and toasted chickpeas. The kale really completed everything when mixed with the lemon vinaigrette and cucumber raita. This bowl offers a complete, healthy meal with protein, veggies, and everything that you’ll be sure to want more of.
One of the coolest things about dining in? Both the stools and the light fixtures are made with mycelium! From the stools to the greenery above the counters, you’re bound to feel the sensation of a proper eco-friendly place.
No cash? No problem! Blue Park Kitchen is card only so be sure to have plastic at the ready. Check out their menu by clicking here.
