Donate Blood, Get a Free Pint at Stout NYC

Like everything else right now, the New York Blood Center is going through a tough time. Thanks to the pandemic, necessary blood supplies are at dangerously low levels. Luckily, you can help fix this by donating a pint of blood this week — and getting a pint of beer in exchange.

Stout NYC (90 John Street) will continue its partnership with the Blood Center to host blood drives on Monday, October 12, and Monday, October 19, from 12p to 6p. Post-blood donation treats consist of juice and cookies, but this time you get that and a gift certificate for a free pint of beer from Stout. You should probably wait a day or so to use it after donating, though. Or not. Up to you!

Donating blood is an easy way to save a life, and the process is safe, with temperature checks at the door and spaced-out stations to ensure social distancing. Sometimes it takes less than half an hour to donate.

Schedule an appointment here. Then use your smartphone to hover over the QR code below and get that tasty sud.
