Outdoor Fun For Everyone!

From diving into the Hudson – figuratively – to experiencing the joys of Sweden, Battery Park City’s summer programs let you span the globe without leaving the friendly confines of Lower Manhattan.

Through August, the Battery Park City Authority is offering more than 600 programs and events to people of all ages at locations throughout the neighborhood. Want to get in touch with your musical side? Feeling the need to be one with nature? Or just want to make new friends? Don’t worry, Battery Park has got you covered.

In Wagner Park every Tuesday and Friday through August, school groups from third grade up will be able to make a splash with the Marine Education Classroom Visits. Students will learn about catch-and-release fishing, as well as the geographic and ecological history of the Hudson River.

For those feeling a bit more Scandinavian, the Swedish Midsummer Dance Festival this Friday evening at 5:30 PM at Wagner Park is for you!

Let your creativity flow with the Elements of Nature Drawing and get your jam on with the River & Blues concert series.

This summer, Battery Park City is home to endless fun! Make the most of your summer and check out the full list of events here.
