There’s a Downtown Halloween Party for Every Kind of Creature

As part of our ongoing series documenting 2023’s downtown Halloween events, we’ve offered up everything from a party at a potion-making bar to a haunted ship tour — but if you still haven’t sorted out your Halloween plans, or are looking for even more All Hallow’s Eve fun to sate your coven, there are plenty of parties in the neighborhood that’ll suit your needs.

Kick off the weekend on Friday, October 27 at the gothic-themed cocktail bar Five and Dime (located in the 110-year-old Woolworth Building at 8 Park Pl.) for their 7th Annual Halloween Party. Chills and thrills will run from 6 p.m. until the witching hour. Tickets are $20 and include two complimentary cocktails. Purchase at the door or in advance by emailing [email protected].

On Saturday night, October 28, round up your posse for a big one at Tribeca Social (6 Murray St.) for their Halloween Ghouls Night Out Party. Festivities will begin at 6 p.m. and continue into Sunday’s unholiest hours. Let loose with a wicked lineup of pop, hip-hop and house anthems while enjoying an enchanting menu of wines, mezcals and sugar-free organic cocktails, not to mention delicious eats. For a truly unforgettable Halloween party, head to Da Claudio (21 Ann St.) on Saturday, October 28. Shenanigans will kick off at 9 p.m. and continue late into the night. There will be a bewitching array of cocktails (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), eats and entertainment, including Tony Waves who will be serving up spine-tingling beats on the decks all night long. Tickets range between $125 and $250 and can be booked via the Eventbrite link. Prizes will be given to the freakiest fits, so don’t forget to dress up!
