Sophia’s Lasagna Is Warming Up at This “Golden Girls” Pop-Up Restaurant

Last month, news broke of a supposed Golden Girls-themed pop-up restaurant that was headed toward East 54th Street. That’s no longer the case, but Midtown’s loss is our gain: the Golden Girls Kitchen will be temporarily making a home at the Seaport.

On December 7, the comfort-food operation will open at sunny 19 Fulton Street, which’ll transform into a Miami-like setting inspired by the likes of Blanche, Rose, Dorothy and Sophia. Here’s more information from the Golden fanatics who put together this ambitious endeavor:

This custom, detailed dining experience is inspired by the girls’ favorite iconic Miami hangouts, as well as other memorable moments from the beloved franchise.

Expect to be completely immersed in the world of The Golden Girls!

There will be additional sides and beverages available for purchase, and an array of dessert choices, including lots of cheesecake options, of course.

You can also sidle up to the Rusty Anchor Bar and select from an assortment of specialty cocktails and mocktails centered around the beloved series.

Don’t forget to take advantage of shareable photo-ops too: snap a photo in Blanche’s Boudoir, complete with shag carpet and a palm print bedspread, or pretend to chat with the ladies through the girls’ yellow kitchen phone.

Exclusive The Golden Girls Kitchen merchandise will be available on-site to purchase and take home.

The kitchen already had a successful pop-up in Beverly Hills over the summer (and, yes, there are plenty of pics to show for it on their Instagram). Tickets for a 90-minute reservation are $40 per person and comes with one entree and one slice of cheesecake. Check out the menu below. And, hey, Sophia’s Lasagna comes with both garlic bread and a gluten-free option!
