Kick Off The New Year With A Slew Of Tasty Lower Manhattan Takeout Options
Now that 2020’s pixie dust at last, it’s as good a time as ever to give your tastebuds a little new year’s jolt. Sure, you perfected a few recipes on your own last year, but if your mouth’s burned out on basic dishes and stews, why not treat yourself to some barbecue, square pies and/or margaritas? Make your resolutions about variety this year, and check out these local spots for takeout, pickup and outdoor dining that’ll fit every flavor profile.
As always, remember to tip handsomely and wear your mask!
Battery Park City’s beloved barbecue joint Blue Smoke’s (225 Vesey Street) is open for takeout, pickup and delivery, and is ready to shove barbecue ribs directly down your throat. (Just kidding, you’ll have to do the shoving yourself.)
Stone Street staple Adrienne’s Pizzabar (54 Stone Street) is still hawking its old fashioned square pies and classic round pies, which are available for pickup, delivery and outdoor dining.
On Greenwich Street, Tajin Mexican (85 Greenwich Street) has burritos, nachos and lethal margaritas available for takeout and delivery, should you be gripped with a craving for something south of the border.
La Parisienne (9 Maiden Lane) is open for takeout, delivery and outdoor dining, so you can get your croques and breakfast sandwiches at your leisure. They’ve also got a curbside happy hour 4p to 6p daily.
If you’re looking for a steamier dish, Kuu (20 John Street) has piping hot ramen bowls available for takeout, delivery and outdoor dining. They’ve also got sake on sale if you want to keep the party going at home.
The Seaport’s Dorlan’s Tavern and Oyster Bar (213 Front Street) has oysters, burgers, brews and fried treats available for takeout, delivery and outdoor dining.
