Now that 2020’s pixie dust at last, it’s as good a time as ever to give your tastebuds a little new year’s jolt. Battery Park City’s beloved barbecue joint Blue Smoke’s (225 Vesey Street) is open for takeout, pickup and delivery, and is ready to shove barbecue ribs directly down your throat. (Just kidding, you’ll have to do the shoving yourself.)
Pizza
Stone Street staple Adrienne’s Pizzabar (54 Stone Street) is still hawking its old fashioned square pies and classic round pies, which are available for pickup, delivery and outdoor dining.
Mexican
On Greenwich Street, Tajin Mexican (85 Greenwich Street) has burritos, nachos and lethal margaritas available for takeout and delivery, should you be gripped with a craving for something south of the border.
French
La Parisienne (9 Maiden Lane) is open for takeout, delivery and outdoor dining, so you can get your croques and breakfast sandwiches at your leisure. They’ve also got a curbside happy hour 4p to 6p daily.
Ramen
If you’re looking for a steamier dish, Kuu (20 John Street) has piping hot ramen bowls available for takeout, delivery and outdoor dining. They’ve also got sake on sale if you want to keep the party going at home.
Seafood
The Seaport’s Dorlan’s Tavern and Oyster Bar (213 Front Street) has oysters, burgers, brews and fried treats available for takeout, delivery and outdoor dining.
