Have a Pint or Two at the Oculus Beer Garden, Open This Weekend for St. Patrick’s Day
If the somewhat milder weather and 7 p.m. sunsets haven’t tipped you off yet, it is nearly, but not quite, springtime in la belle New York City. You’ll still have to wait a bit for official outdoor drinking season, but this weekend offers a nice preview: the Oculus Beer Garden will be open on Saturday, March 16 and Sunday, March 17 for St. Patrick’s Day.
To fete St. Paddy, the garden will be open for al fresco boozing from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. all weekend, with all things Irish for your enjoyment, including specially selected beers, music and food. Attendees will also receive half-price drink coupons with every purchase, which can be redeemed when the Oculus Beer Garden officially debuts for the summer season on April 1.
For more spots to visit on St. Patrick’s Day (and year-round), check out our downtown beer lover’s guide and our LM by the Numbers Word Cloud featuring some of the neighborhood’s standout Irish pubs. As always, drink responsibly, tip your bartender and sláinte!
