Picture Downtown Guest of the Day James writes, “Sometimes at the end of a workday I stand in our boardroom and watch the sun set over the Hudson, Staten Island and New Jersey. The water looks still and ships rest in the distance as long lines of headlights start to form on the Verrazano and way off, the New Jersey Turnpike. I’m all alone in the room and yet connected to such a vast, varied expanse of weekday travel home. After a few peaceful minutes it’s time to me to head home, too.”
