It’s Simply Pride at Simply Wine, Where You Can Nab Merch and Booze for a Good Cause

Amid all your downtown Pride party-hopping, consider stocking up on supplies for your next summer barbeque celebration from Simply Wine’s (55 Liberty St.) Pride 2024 collection. This year’s limited run of items includes a cute rainbow wine key opener and a tee and tote bag sporting the shop’s special rainbow Pride logo. And, of course, there’s no shortage of Pride-themed booze: in addition to Simply Wine’s highly curated, socially conscious wines, the shop is selling Gay Water, single cans of a naturally flavored spiked vodka seltzer made by a LGBTQIA+-owned business.
As was the case last year, 2024’s Pride collection benefits a worthy cause. For every can of the seltzer Simply Wine sells in June, the business will donate $1 to the VictimsFirst fund. This organization works directly with survivors of and families affected by gun violence in America. They are one of the last charity organizations still working with the victims and loved ones touched by the Pulse Nightclub shooting in 2016 that targeted the LGBTQIA+ community. On the last Friday of the month, Simply Wine will host its annual Pride tasting; proceeds from the tasting will be adding to the donation amount collected from the merch sales.
