Lower Manhattan’s 2024 Guide to a Fully Stuffed Thanksgiving
Look, NYC kitchens are tiny. If you’re not looking forward to having a dozen people cramming into yours for Thanksgiving, do yourself a favor and book Turkey Day dinner at one of Lower Manhattan’s many restaurants. We’ve rounded up the spots where you can enjoy multi-course menus with Thanksgiving classics as well as creative seasonal dishes from some of the city’s best chefs. If you’d rather enjoy it at home (or you overcommitted when it comes to your potluck contribution), many restaurants are also offering sides, desserts or even full Thanksgiving spreads that you can order to pick up. If you want to pass it off as home cooking, we won’t tell.
Here’s where we would reserve a table or to-go meal in the neighborhood this Thanksgiving.
Manhatta
Enjoy your Thanksgiving meal with sweeping skyline views at Manhatta. The dining hotspot’s four-course menu includes roasted turkey with pomme puree, stuffing and cranberry, Kristal caviar with smoked potato and hazelnut and milk chocolate Cremeux with passion fruit and espresso ice cream, among other seasonal options. You can book a four-course menu for $195 per person through Manhatta’s website. To inquire about three-course menus or kids’ menus for those under 12, call the restaurant.
The Capital Grille
The steakhouse is offering a Thanksgiving menu with all the classics, like slow-roasted turkey with gravy, brioche sage stuffing, mashed potatoes and pumpkin cheesecake. But if you prefer steak to turkey, the full dinner menu is also available on Thanksgiving. Reservations can be made online. If you’ll be eating at home, the Capital Grille can still be part of your celebration thanks to its Thanksgiving Sides at Home package which includes seven items including cranberry-pear chutney and pecan-crusted sweet potatoes with hot honey. The full bundle is $135 and can be picked up November 27 or 28; individual sides are also available for pre-order.
Urban Cove Society & Kitchen
For a stylish Thanksgiving dinner, head to Urban Cove Society & Kitchen. The team will be serving up a family-style feast of whipped ricotta, turkey dinner, apple pie and pumpkin pie for $75 per person. Toasting to the holiday with a few of the restaurant’s creative cocktails is not required, but definitely recommended. Reservations can be made through the website.
La Marchande
The restaurant located inside the Wall Street Hotel is serving up an elegant three-course feast for Thanksgiving. Heritage turkey with glazed short rib, kale and chrysanthemum salad, and chocolate pecan tartlets are all on the menu this Turkey Day. The Fulton
The Fulton is offering a seafood-forward menu for Thanksgiving, with dishes like warm octopus and fresh mozzarella, sea bass, crab risotto and Faroe Island salmon. Each item is also available to order individually. If we were you, we’d add a pecan bourbon pie to the order. You can place your order online for cold pickup on November 27.
