Live Music and a Cocktail at Fraunces Tavern

From 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., pianist Tim Splain will be playing a variety of love songs that will get anyone in the mood for romance. Tickets are $49 and include a Chocolate Martini or True Romance cocktail (an elevated G&T). A special Valentine’s prix fixe menu will also be available. Grab your tickets here.
Singles Mixer at the Cloud One Hotel
Wanna avoid all the lovey-dovey couples? We feel you, and so does the Cloud One Hotel (133 Greenwich St.). On February 13 starting at 6 p.m., the hotel is hosting a singles mixer in its sixth-floor lounge space. Guests can expect to enjoy music from DJ Deem, fun cocktails, chocolate cake, an Insta-worthy balloon backdrop and fun conversation. It’s free to attend and you can reserve your spot here.
A Very Special Baked Alaska at Delmonico’s
Delmonico’s (56 Beaver St.) is offering a special pink version of the culinary institution’s famed Baked Alaska dessert, which was invented by the restaurant in 1867. It’s the perfect end to the four-course prix fixe Valentine’s Day dinner, where diners can enjoy dishes like risotto, filet mignon, hamachi crudo and other steakhouse classics. The dinner is $205 per person and can be booked here.
An Elevated Valentine’s Day Menu at Metropolis
Metropolis, located inside PAC NYC (251 Fulton St.), is offering a special Valentine’s Day menu. You and your sweetheart can enjoy creative dishes like fluke tartare with carrot aguachile and house pickles, lobster bird and black cod hot pot. Finish the evening with a special dessert called “Chocolate Box,” made with pecan and strawberries. The seating is $110 per person; see the full menu and reserve your spots here.
A Seafood Dinner and Sweeping Views at the Fulton
At the Fulton by Jean-Georges (89 South St.), you and your date can enjoy fresh seafood dishes like the petite seafood plateau and spaghetti alle vongole while you take in the view of the Brooklyn Bridge. For dessert, you have options like a raspberry and chocolate tart, chocolate ganache cake and the Fulton cookie. It’s all included as part of the restaurant’s Valentine’s Day prix fixe menu, which is $168 per person. You can make your reservation here.
Heart-Shaped Pizzas at the Frenchman’s Dough
Another one of Jean-Georges’ dining destinations within the Tin Building, the Frenchman’s Dough (96 South St.) will be serving up heart-shaped pizzas, special desserts, and other a la carte items in honor of Valentine’s Day. You can still grab reservations here, but we’d make yours ASAP before they’re inevitably snatched up.
Special Holiday Dishes at T. Brasserie
T. Brasserie (96 South St.) is also offering special holiday dishes a la carte to celebrate Valentine’s Day. There’s little information available about what those dishes will be, but considering the standard menu has items like baked brie, pan-seared chicken, ribeye steaks and plenty of creative cocktails like the Brown Butter Old-Fashioned, we’d say you’re in for a memorable meal. Make your reservation here. If you happen to be in the building earlier in the day, grab a special Valentine’s Day treat like the chocolate and raspberry heart mousse or raspberry and rose tartlets from the patisserie to surprise your sweetheart.
Valentine’s Day Lunch in the Sky at Manhatta
Take a half-day so you and your beau can enjoy a truly memorable Valentine’s Day meal at Manhatta (28 Liberty St.). Perched 60 stories above street level, the restaurant’s a la carte lunch menu includes creative dishes like burrata and persimmons with pickled chanterelles, almond miso and nasturtium, grilled seabass with a chowder of hazelnuts and razor clams and olive oil cake with strawberry ganache and meringue. You can make your reservation here.
A Seductive Evening at “Life and Trust”
“Life and Trust,” the immersive theatre experience that opened last summer at 69 Beaver St., has a special Valentine’s Day event planned. At “Devilish Desires,” patrons will be encouraged to enjoy an evening full of desire, complete with tarot love readings, photographers and a special toast. Everyone is encouraged to come dressed in Gilded Age or 1920s attire, or dressed as their favorite character, or decked in green, red, black or gold. The duo with the best outfits will win tickets to a future performance of “Life and Trust.” Tickets are $188.50 and can be purchased here. You can book arrival times between 7:15 and 7:55.
