Statement regarding the WTC Summit by Elizabeth Berger, President of the Alliance for Downtown New York:

Nothing is more important to Lower Manhattan’s future as an international business center than rebuilding the World Trade Center site. Progress is essential. We applaud Speaker Silver and Mayor Bloomberg for bringing the parties together to begin to resolve their differences, and hope that today’s summit is the first of many productive conversations.
