Art, Fashion and Your Favorite Juice Shop Head to Westfield World Trade Center
Exciting things are happening over at the Westfield World Trade Center, and we don’t just mean strong central air-conditioning (although that’s a plus these days). Here are three new art-and-design haunts that just opened at the Oculus … plus one tasty standby.
Nahualli Gallery
This venue for Latin American art and culture showcases several works across different mediums. The store officially opened in July with a ribbon cutting by the Mexican consul-general.
NYC Culture Club
Westfield’s celebrated exhibition space launched a new exhibit in July, titled Welcome Back. The show features more than 20 artists and celebrates the city’s spirit of resiliency and innovation. Artists include AP The Angel, Daniel Ma, BoogieREZ, Michael Sadowsky, Alex Cohen and Maryam Turkey.
Art to Ware
Founded by Leslie Ware, this minority-owned fashion brand features emerging designers who create sustainable fashion from upcycled materials. Their pop-up boutique in Westfield will introduce shoppers to the next generation of socially responsible stylistas, including Parron Allen, Gianni Lee, Hansel Clothing, JRat, Alexa Stark, Ooh Baby and Project Runway alum Epperson.
One final note: Westfield’s getting a Jamba Juice! Stop by for all the blended fruit smoothies and juices your scurvy-ridden heart can handle.
