This film series focuses on the unique narratives that highlight Australian culture, history, or landscape. In celebration of Earth Month, the Long Weekend (1978, Colin Eggleston) tells the story of a suburban couple who go camping for the weekend at a remote beach, where they discover that nature isn’t in an accommodating mood. Free popcorn will be served, and a discussion will follow the screenings.
