Violin duo Miolina presents “Timber/Timbre,” a concert inspired by the trees that make-up our homes, schools, and businesses. Wood was one of humanity’s first building materials, and today it’s used in a new form, called Mass Timber, to build skyscrapers around the world. Miolina will present compositions that explore the nature of wood in connection with our current exhibition TALL TIMBER: The Future of Cities in Wood! Miolina will present works by Dan Cooper, Dorothee Eberhardt, Mauro Godoy Villalobos, Jesse Jones, Sunny Knable, and Jessie Montgomery. Registration required.
