It’s Once Again Time to Sign Up for the 9/11 Museum’s Annual 5K

Mark your calendar for Sunday, April 27, when the 9/11 Memorial & Museum will hold its 13th commemoratory 5K run/walk.

The three-mile race takes place in Lower Manhattan, along a path reflective of the one taken by the many heroes who worked the rescue and recovery efforts at Ground Zero on 9/11 and in the days, weeks and even months that followed. The race begins near Brookfield Place and finishes on Greenwich Street across from the 9/11 Memorial, where there will be live entertainment, activities and free admission to the museum.

Attendees will receive an official 5K t-shirt, a bib and additional perks. All proceeds will be used to further the museum’s efforts to continue to raise awareness and share the stories of people affected by 9/11, as well as to maintain the quality of its space and services.

Visit the website to register and to donate, and feel free to reach out to runwalk@911memorial.org for more information.
