Light Up the Dark Autumn Days With the Brookfield Luminaries

The days might be getting shorter, but that can’t squash Brookfield Place’s annual holiday luminaries, which are back for another year on November 25. Stop by the Winter Garden and take in the interactive installation, where visitors can make wishes on the canopy of colored lanterns with a completely touchless experience using depth-sensor cameras.

While you’re there, consider lacing up your skates and doing some laps at the Rink that overlooks the Hudson River. Brookfield’s alternative to the Rockefeller Center and Bryant Park rinks starts at $15 (plus $5 skate rentals). Post-spin grab a bite and/or a drink at one of the Hudson Eats stalls, or dine on the water at a sit-down spot like Seamore’s or Le District.
