The China Institute to Harvest Quality Family Time at Mid-Autumn Festival

On Saturday, September 23, the China Institute (40 Rector St.) is set to honor the fall season with a series of mid-autumn celebrations that’ll bring the fam together and clear the way for a fortuitous rest of the year.
More from the China Institute:
Mid-autumn is one of the most celebrated holidays in China — a time for families to get together under the full moon and light up lanterns to symbolically illuminate the path to success for the rest of the year. Join other families from all over Manhattan at this signature event of ours on September 23 to discover shadow puppetry, mooncakes, traditional Han garments, sugar paintings, and much more!
Festivities run from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., and somebody bring us a few of those snow skin mooncakes if you get a chance. Tickets are $12 per adult (one adult can bring up to two children) and free for active students as well as China Institute members.
