Close Out Summer With One Last Beach Party!

Don’t put away that sunblock — summer is not over just yet.

The Governor’s Island Seafood & Music Beach Party lets you get in one more beach day before summer ends.  On Saturday, September 6th from 2 p.m. –  10 p.m., you’ll find two stages of live music, along with lobster rolls, oysters, shrimp and craft beer on a giant sand beach with amazing views of the East River and Lower Manhattan skyline. 

Musical performances will feature Badfish: A Tribute to Sublime, Easy Star Allstarts perform Dub Side of the Moon, Alan Evans PLAYONBROTHER, Superhuman Happiness, Spiritual Rez, Hot Lava and more.  If you like reggae, you can enjoy a Bob Marley tribute performed by CCB.  Or you can hear the Jimmy Kenny Band performing the music of Jimmy Buffet, Kenny Chesney and  Zac Brown Band.  Sharing the stage will also be DJ Cochon de Lait and DJ I-storm.
