After Years of Requests, Luke’s Lobster Is Debuting a Warm Lobster Roll

For 13 years, Luke’s Lobster — the international restaurant chain with a location at 26 S. William Street — has only served chilled lobster meat in its Maine-style rolls. It’s a classic summer sandwich, but maybe not ideal for the days when the winter air itself is chilled.

However, after years of requests for something warmer for this time of year, Luke’s has unveiled a new item for the winter: the warm-butter lobster roll.

It features the same knuckle and claw meat as the standard lobster roll, but it’s warmed through a butter bath and finished off with lemon and a sprinkle of secret seasoning. The roll is available for dine-in only and for a limited time, so make sure to get your way over to Luke’s before the chilled days are over.
