Icons of Culture Festival Brings Serena Williams, Questlove and Michael Imperioli to PAC NYC

One of the best parts about living in New York City is the chance to spend time with and learn from some of the world’s most accomplished cultural figures. If that sounds like a good time to you, you’ll definitely want to mark your calendar for this fall’s inaugural Icons of Culture Festival at the Perelman Performing Arts Center (PAC NYC). Speakers — among them Serena Williams, Questlove, Michael Imperioli, Kathleen Turner, Misty Copeland and the Dogist — will share their personal stories and inspire audiences to become trailblazers in their own lives.

“We are thrilled to mark PAC NYC’s one year anniversary with this inaugural festival,” executive director Khady Kamara Nunez and artistic director Bill Rauch shared in a press release. “Celebrating ‘Icons of Culture’ in our building from so many different backgrounds, specifically at the World Trade Center, reflects our commitment to being a home for the exchange of ideas, artistry and inspiration.”

The festival takes place October 29 through November 2, with events at various times. Events will be staged in all three PAC NYC theaters, as well as on the public Vartan and Clare Gregorian lobby stage and inside the onsite restaurant, Metropolis by Marcus Samuelsson. Tickets for each talk are $64 to $119 and can be purchased through the PAC NYC website
