The Seaport Museum Is Hosting Trivia Night Aboard a Historic Tall Ship
If you’ve lived in NYC for any significant length of time, you’ve almost certainly found yourself at a trivia night or two. Whether your coworkers drag you to a bar for a supposed team-bonding ritual or you just can’t resist the chance to show off your niche knowledge, it’s nevertheless a dubious rite of passage. However, we’re willing to wager you’ve never been to a wine-fueled trivia night on a historic ship. And if you have, well, you’re living a more interesting life than most!
So, ready to climb aboard? Then hit the 1885 tall ship “Wavertree” on Wednesday September 13, at 6:30 p.m. for a night of trivia — hosted by the South Street Seaport Museum and the Guides Association of New York City. Categories to brush up on include bodies and bars; statues and seaport; and squares and pairs.
You can bring your own crew of four to six people, or come solo and get paired up with fellow trivia lovers. Your $20 ticket comes with plenty of free vino and/or non-alcoholic beverages, plus the enticing prospect of going home with a prize (and bragging rights, of course).
