Overview
Placed in 1973, the sculpture features two complementary pieces -- a large concrete slab with a punched-out circle juxtaposed with an oversized reflective stainless steel disk. Inspired by nature, Yang, who called his work lifescapes once said they were meant to "harmonize man and his environment spiritually, mentally and physically."
