You *Will* Be Talking About Bout Fight Club

Bout Fight Club, the five-year-old boxing studio on Fulton Street, asks New Yorkers a simple question: Everyone in the city needs a therapist — why not hit a bag and spar a few rounds while you’re at it?

The boxing gym offers all kinds of classes and trainers for fighters at all levels. But if you just need to hook and jab out of your workweek, they also have a $15 boxing happy hour on Fridays.

Bout has already earned a great reputation at boxing tournaments of all levels. It’s one of Lower Manhattan’s Black-owned businesses, with Colin Morgan, a world-renowned trainer with nearly a half-century experience in and out of the ring, leading the operation.

Check out Bout’s Instagram page for a sampling of its community-building offerings, which in the past have included free self-defense classes for Asian women, viewing parties for big boxing matches and salsa dance parties. The Instagram also shows off all the championships Bout’s boxers have won, which will give you some inspiration for your next session of punch therapy.
