A Word Cloud That Breaks Down All of Downtown’s Irish Pub Fare

A Word Cloud That Breaks Down All of Downtown’s Irish Pub Fare

We’ve somehow made it to St. Patrick’s Day again, which means a full day of memorializing the famed Apostle of Ireland through religious and thoughtful contemplation. JK, it’s a drinking holiday! To aid you in your impending St. Patty’s pub crawl — and to ensure you line your stomach with the necessary, greasy and delicious carbohydrates —  we performed an exhaustive data crunch of all the offerings on Lower Manhattan’s Irish pub menus. The result? This meticulously constructed word cloud: the cheesier and more beer-battered the item, the more likely you’ll find it downtown.

Peruse the following at your leisure; the menus from which we sampled are hyperlinked under the graphic to assist you in your St. Patty’s Day planning.
