Slide Dough With The Masters At Keste Pizza & Vino’s Pizza-Making Classes
On the heels of 300-some-odd spectators zooming into Chef Roberto Caporuscio’s virtual “Dine Around Downtown: Cooking at Home Edition” tutorial on how to make traditional (and gluten-free) Margherita and Montanara Pizzas, the Keste Pizza & Vino Wall Street chef is now offering in-person (masked and socially-distanced) pizza-making classes on Thursday nights from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Keste’s 77 Fulton Street kitchen.
The two-hour sessions will pair hands-on instruction and techniques with a little history of the classic Neapolitan dish. Attendees are welcome to unlimited Italian wine or soda while they cook, plus a gift bag including Caputo flour, a can of Ciao tomatoes and the pizza recipe to make it again at home.
Classes cost $100 per person for up to nine participants, with a group discount of $70 per person for 10 or more. (Private classes for 15 or more attendees can also be accommodated upon request.)
Kids pizza classes, available for ages 5 and up, go for $45 per head. Prices do not include taxes or gratuity. To sign up and ask any questions, including to request gluten-free options, email [email protected].
