Manhatta: Now Taking High-Rise Reservations
It has been a struggle for Danny Meyer fans, but after two-plus years of pandemic closure and with only a few months on the books as a lavish cocktail lounge, the gorgeous restaurant Manhatta is now accepting reservations for dinner.
Perched on the 60th floor of 28 Liberty Street, the ritzy operation is perhaps best known for its scenic views and scene-y vibes — not to mention an amazing drink menu that pairs exceptionally well with the dining room’s stunning vistas. The menu includes the following:
- Squid and Daikon Salad with Cucumber and Seaweed Vinaigrette
- Sungold Tomatoes with Chilled Tomato Dashi and Sesame Tofu
- Scallops, Red Pepper, Black Olive, and Lime
- Beef Tartare with Hazelnut Miso and Crispy Sweet Potato
- Blue Crab, Green Tomato, Horseradish, and Caviar
- “Oysters Manhatta” with Uni and Champagne Sabayon
- Barbequed Freshwater Eel with Bone Marrow
- Foie Gras and Duck Pie with Chanterelles and Vin Jaune
- Grilled Lobster, Black Garlic, Tokyo Turnips, and Carolina Gold Rice
- Monkfish, Mangalica Ham, Manila Clams and Sorana Beans
- Jimmy Nardellos, Fairytale Eggplant, Farro, and Sunflower Romesco
- Dry Aged Duck with Preserved Cherries and Radicchio
- Cote de Boeuf for Two with Caraflex Cabbage and Pomme Aligot
Dinner will be served from 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., starting September 16. The bar opens at 4 p.m., where walk-ins are welcome. Reservations for the dining room can be made up to 28 days in advance for parties up to six guests.
