Things Are Looking Up! The Skyscraper Museum Is Back With Free Admission

They say only tourists look up in the city, but you’re missing a lot if you don’t take in the truly awesome scope of the skyline for yourself once a while. Here’s your chance to catch up on what’s up: The Skyscraper Museum (39 Battery Place) finally reopened to the public on July 15. And, while the buildings may be high, the cost is not: admission is free through January.

The Lower Manhattan gallery will be open on Thursdays to Saturdays from noon to 6 p.m. Timed ticket reservations are required, reserve yours here

Accompanying the reopening is a big exhibit about the biggest buildings: Supertall 2021!, which features 58 skyscrapers around the world that surpass the 102 stories of the Empire State Building. The museum has a few outdoor family programs worth checking out, too.
