Show Off Your Revolutionary War Knowledge With Trivia At Fraunces Tavern
Calling all history buffs, trivia enthusiasts and general fans of good beer and company! Fraunces Tavern, once a famous Revolutionary War hangout (and the host location for George Washington’s famed army farewell party), will be hosting an appropriately-themed Revolutionary War Tavern Trivia Night on July 20. BYO tri-cornered hat!
The trivia event is part of a slate of outdoor programming Fraunces has in store leading up to the bar and attached museum’s Tavern Week Celebration, an annual soiree of historic taverns in the United States. In addition to trivia night, you can attend a Colonial Drinking Songs night on August 17 and an evening of ale-tasting on September 14. The museum and bar will be handing out Events Passport booklets so you can keep track of the events you attend, and if you submit your passport by September 19, you’ll get cool prizes.
Tavern Week runs September 12 through September 19; for the full list of summer events, check out Fraunces’s website.
