On Sept. 11, Reflecting Absence will be dedicated with President Barack Obama, former President George W. Bush and victims’ families in attendance. On bronze panels around the tops of each pool are the 2,982 names of victims of 9/11 in New York, Pennsylvania and the Pentagon and six who died in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.
