The North Cove Marina at Brookfield Place is hosting the eleventh season of the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race. The Lower Manhattan harbor is the only North American stop and the final leg of this round-the-globe journey that begins and ends in Liverpool, UK.
What separates this race from others is that regular people take part in the global excursion, with 40% of the crew having no sailing experience before signing up.
The Clipper Race team will be docked in North Cove Marina through Saturday, June 23 and offer free boat tours from 10am – 7pm.
