It’s heeeeeeeeeeere — the long-awaited, year-round ferry service to Governors Island kicks off on Monday, January 24, which means you’ll be able to soak in all the views, bites, public art and events Lower Manhattan has to offer even in the darkest days of winter. The South Brooklyn route is adding Governors Island as a permanent stop in between Sunset Park/Brooklyn Army Terminal and Red Hook/Atlantic Basin.
