No longer merely the city’s financial center, Lower Manhattan is a flourishing 24/7 neighborhood full of bars, restaurants, residential towers, cultural centers and third spaces, along with a diverse collection of industries that run the gamut from publishing to fashion. Don’t just take it from us: Time Out recently named the Financial District the 28th coolest neighborhood in the world, alongside heavy hitters like Bogota’s Chapinero Alto and the Quartier d’Aligre in Paris.
In Lower Manhattan, we’ve got runway shows, chic cafes, literary events and longstanding pubs that get New York Times writeups for the young and cool crowds they attract. With new(ish)comers like Printemps and the Balloon Museum, the neighborhood is becoming an even more vibrant, eclectic destination for tourists and locals alike.
